We discuss what it is, how it was created, its significance for the Sikh Panth and some of the problems encountered along the way. We also discuss how the main creator of the calendar, Pal Singh Purewal, used Gurbani and Guru Nanak Dev ji as the basis for a modern, scientifically accurate calendar.
